Zarfan’s Etching Salt is a safe and efficient alternative to liquid acids, designed for surface activation before electroplating. It effectively removes oxide layers, grease, and surface impurities, ensuring stronger adhesion for the next plating layers such as gold, nickel, or rhodium. To prepare one liter of ready solution, dissolve 30–50 g of powder in water at 18–25 °C.
